Ghost King’s Sacrificial Little Bride (60)

On her fair skin, the faint colorless marks formed a strange pattern.

It was full of all kinds of command orders.

Among them, the power to command the killing of ghosts.

Ji Yongchuan’s cold expression finally changed, a blue flame appeared in his fingers.

Then his whole hand, fiercely struck the seal on her back.

The apathetic Bai Weiwei softly fell to the ground.

The ghost fire confronted the seal and began to tear it out.

Bai Weiwei shivered, as if somewhat afraid to look back at him.

Ji Yongchuan soon tore the seal out, and held it above his finger to observe it carefully.

Only to find, there indeed was a command to kill ghosts.

The rest of the marks were a bit vague, but Ji Yongchuan could still guess what frightening manipulation could result if this talisman was placed on a person.

In the Bai family, there would be many control talismans.

And control human was one of them.

How could this thing be on her?

As Ji Yongchuan stared blankly, his hands unconsciously loosened.

Bai Weiwei immediately pushed him away, she hurriedly gathered her clothes spread across the floor, and ran for the door.

However, the door was locked by an immense force, it wasn’t something she could open.

Her face went from sorrow to despair, and from behind, he slowly approached.

Bai Weiwei sat down again on the ground by the door. Her face covered in tears that glued her hair to it, appearing particularly pitiful.

Ji Yongchuan came to her, staring down at her from his tall stature, eyes not entirely convinced.

“Weiwei, what’s on your lower back?”

Bai Weiwei watched him warily, there was no soft love in her eyes, only stubborn cold.

As if staring at an unknown violent criminal.

These eyes stung him.

Ji Yongchuan immediately crouched down, one hand pressed on her shoulder, his pure black eyes laden with evil spirit qi.

“Do you fear me? Or do you hate me?”

Bai Weiwei hugged her clothes and shrank into a ball. Not willing to look at him, also not daring to cry, she just bowed her head like this to guard against him.

Ji Yongchuan only thought that this gesture made him feel worse than if she hated him.

He reached out to forcefully lift her chin. There was fear and panic in her eyes, her lips were pursed, and she was trembling all over.

Ji Yongchuan’s eyes flashed a hint of sadness.

He bowed his head, and pressed his forehead against hers, their eyelashes were nearly touching.

His icy breath made her flinch and want to back away.

But, behind her was the door, there was nowhere to escape.

She was poor and helpless, like a little animal forced to a dead end by a hunter, constantly shaking in fear.

“Weiwei.” A heavy sorrow appeared in his eyes.

Bai Weiwei couldn’t make a sound.

He murmured again, “Did Bai Wen manipulate you?”

Bai Weiwei blinked once. She started to open her mouth, but thought of something, and sank back into silence.

A thread of frustration rose in Ji Yongchuan’s heart, becoming more upset.

“Did he control you?”

If Bai Wen wasn’t commanding her, then why would she have a Bai family control symbol on her waist?

“As long as you say that you were manipulated, I’ll believe you.”

Ji Yongchuan’s words were almost pleas.

He really needed her affirmation.

Bai Weiwei suddenly raised her resentful eyes, she abruptly stretched out her hands, desperately pinching his neck.

Ji Yongchuan didn’t resist, his uncanny eyes staring at her, startled.

Bai Weiwei exhausted her strength, but his neck was as cold and hard as a stone, she simply could not choke him.

She gritted her teeth, said with a hoarse voice, “Ni1…… bastard……”

Miserable and pathetic, that was how she looked.

1: 尼……, I don’t know what the second half of this insult was so I can only leave it as is.

Hali: Now it’s her turn to torture him.

  1. How the turn tables turn…!!!

And did BWW somehow contrive to get those seals on her? Clever girl!!!

    1. The “Ni” for you is: “你”, not “尼”, my friend. Thanks for trying to help out though.

  2. When I saw Ni without context in a chinese novel, my brain would immediately supply “Ma” as a complementary continuation… Yeah, it’a Mud Horse for me. But I don’t really know what’s the real meaning of the one in the text…
