The Little Princess’s Married-in Boyfriend (13)
Bai Weiwei laughed. His shy look made her happy.
“Is it your first time liking someone?”
Xu Menggui lowered his head. He was red in the face, as though Bai Weiwei was a great scourge, and he hated that he couldn’t immediately run away.
Bai Weiwei’s young miss temper flared up again. She pulled his arm and rocked coquettishly. “Yes or no? Say yes or no.”
Her voice was saccharine, yet unexpectedly, not annoying.
Rather, it sounded very nice.
Xu Menggui couldn’t stop himself from whispering, “Mm.”
But Bai Weiwei didn’t let him go. She blew softly in his ear, full of temptation.
“Then who is it?”
Xu Menggui curled in his neck, seeming very sensitive, but he didn’t dare to speak.
Bai Weiwei slowly approached him. Xu Menggui flusteredly shrank to the side.
“Is it me?” Her courage grew as she spoke with a wink.
Xu Menggui didn’t expect her to be so direct. His breathing grew rough, and his lips trembled, but he didn’t speak.
Bai Weiwei’s voice became sad. “Like I said, no one would like me.”
Xu Menggui immediately became anxious. “No, I really like you. You are the first girl I’ve liked.”
As soon as he spoke, he realized he’d been fooled.
Sure enough, Bai Weiwei laughed, her laughter crisp and loveable.
Xu Menggui could only look at her helplessly. Because of her smile, his cold expression also thawed.
Bai Weiwei suddenly snuck a swift glance at him, looking like a sly little fox.
Xu Menggui was slow to understand. “Me too what.”
Bai Weiwei: “It’s the first time I’ve liked a man after growing up.”
Xu Menggui gripped the steering wheel, tense.
Bai Weiwei said, “I like you, Xiao Meng.”
She confessed, but it was open and natural, without the slightest bit of bashfulness.
Her gaze was completely clear, without any hint of a joke.
As though when she said she liked him, it would be for a lifetime.
Xu Menggui discovered his mind was in turmoil. He immediately readied himself and performed the expected reaction.
He abruptly reached out to hug her and buried his face in the crook of her shoulder. His nose was filled with the girl’s fragrance.
He couldn’t help but take in a breath. It smelled so clean and pleasant.
Then he put away his wolf-like gaze and tried to keep his voice excited. “Weiwei, I’m so happy. So, so happy.”
Bai Weiwei said softly, “You’re so stupid.”
A soft and faint sentence, but its sweetness seeped into his bones.
Xu Menggui didn’t know why his heartbeat sped up a bit.
Although he quickly suppressed his true emotions, when he looked at Bai Weiwei, his gaze couldn’t help but soften.

When Xu Menggui sent Bai Weiwei back.
The house was brightly lit.
Bai Qingshui was seated in the living room, coldly staring at Xu Menggui.
Bai Weiwei saw that the situation wasn’t right and immediately skipped up to him. “Dad.”
Bai Qingshui snorted. “You still know to come back.”
Xu Menggui stood straight, his head lowered, looking as though he would be punished.
Bai Qingshui already knew what had happened. When he saw his daughter’s filthy clothes, he was furious.
“Xu Menggui, are you seeking death? You take my daughter out, and such a thing happened. You still have the face to come back?”
Xu Menggui frowned, but he didn’t refute. “It’s all my fault. I didn’t protect Weiwei well.”
Bai Qingshui coldly gazed at him. “Break both your legs and you’re stripped of your right to marry into the family. Get out.”
